About Me

My name is Melanie Thompson. I am married and I have two children. My daughter is 8 and my son is 4. I am a registered nurse and I work in the hospital settings caring for post operative heart surgery patients. I have been a nurse for 20 years now and I am grateful to be able to do what I love for a living, and that is to care for and help people .
I was introduced to essential oils by a dear friend and fellow nurse and my life has never been the same ever since! I fell completely in love with Young Living Essential Oils and I cannot imagine a day without them. When I began this journey , I was in search of something that could help me and my family move towards natural health remedies. My Favorite Oil

My favorite oil is Peace & Calming. This oil is a blend of tangerine, orange, ylang ylang, patchouli and blue tansy. It is calming to the nerves and emotions at times of stress. It aids in relaxation and sleep. I use it every night before bed and it helps to slow down my busy mind and gives me the most restful sleep.

First Oil Success

I fell in love with my oils when I started diffusing them at night for sleep for my 4 year old. He was suffering from terrible night terrors. I felt so helpless and stressed when it came to bedtime. As soon as I started using a certain combination of oils, he had never had another night terror again. It was then that I was convinced that there was something special with these oils and I became a believer.
