About Me

Hi I’m so happy to be able to share my love of Young Living’s Essential Oils with you. Thank You for taking the time to visit my website. I am a native of Long Island. My husband, James, and I live in Smithtown with our three dogs and our cat. I work as a Physical therapist with a specialty in lymphedema therapy. Due to the nature of my professional specialty I often work with people suffering the after affects of cancer treatments. It really brings more awareness to the chemicals we ingest, breathe, use in our beauty products, and clean our homes with. This was one of the major factors propelling me forward in discovering all the benefits offered by pure therapeutic grade essential oils and all the other products available through Young Living. Getting to meet like minded, altruistic, entrepreneurial people is just another great reward of this oily journey!

My Favorite Oil

Oh SUCH a tough question! There are so many….
If I have to choose one it’d have to be lavender. I was first introduced to lavender oil when my yoga instructor would use it during savasana meditation at the end of class. Lavender was also the first thing my husband ever bought me on our first date (besides breakfast!) which may have got him the second date! It was also the first oil I choose out of my starter kit to try in my diffuser and has become the most used oil in our household due to it’s variety of uses! Some of those uses include: enhancing restful sleep, in my facial serum, for any skin issues, helping reduce stress, in the dryer with wool dryer balls to freshen laundry, and in shampoo as it’s also good for your hair!

First Oil Success

I was actually introduced to Young Living’s Essential Oils two years prior to getting my starter kit. A friend of ours offered me a sample to try as I was suffering from poison ivy. Since moving into our new home and having three dogs I had numerous skin reactions which were becoming very expensive and difficult to deal with as I would have to cover any open wounds to work with my own patients. After using the oils our friend shared I was hooked! I immediately bought all four and continue to use them in combination whenever I have a similar reaction. For me this was a huge burden lifted as I could now go back to gardening, hiking, and raking leaves without concern!
