About Me

My name is Dana Floyd and I reside in Citrus County Florida! I was born and raised here and still call it my home. I love it, even though it is a small town. I have all my family here that I wish to stay close to!

I am married to my high school sweetheart and together we have 2 adopted children with special needs and then a biological child which was a surprise! They are 5, 4, and 2 as of February 2016! I am an Full-Time employee and very active in my church and love helping others! I’m Board Chair for an organization that is very close to my heart called Adoption2Action.

I first started looking into Essential Oils to help my two adopted children with their many different problems they have due to their background. Specifically I needed to help my son be able to focus and help tame his meltdowns he was having since he doesn’t know how to process a lot of things right now. I also needed to help my daughter with her occasional restlessness. I couldn’t get her to sleep through the night or even for an hour straight. She constantly woke up screaming terrified and when we asked her why she stated there were cats in her room scratching her and there was a cowboy in her room.

When researching EO companies I wanted to find the best one and the one that was all natural. It’s an important aspect in my 2 adopted children’s life because of the many issues we deal with certain chemicals can cause major problems for them. As many of you know a lot of companies claim their products are all natural however that’s not the case once researching. So I came across many but I chose Young Living. I chose them for many reasons but the main reasons were because they had the Seed to Seal guarantee, they own many farms throughout the country, and they manage the oils from the time they leave their source to the time it reaches their bottle. That was enough for me. When i got my starter kit the first thing I pulled out was Lavender because I was 100% certain I would despise it because I hate the smell of Lavender lotions, candles, etc. What I was surprised to find was it smelt nothing like I thought it would. It was the best smelling Lavender I’ve ever put up to my nose. I think I literally sat there for 5 minutes just taking in the smell! So that right there told me I made the right decision with going to Young Living. Keep in mind that all the things I’m sharing with you today and moving forward is all my personal testimony with what has helped myself and family as well as every Essential Oil I use is Young Living. Be sure to do your research no matter what you are doing for the safety of your specific brand if it’s not Young Living!

My Favorite Oil

If you know me and have talked to me you will know that my favorite oil is STRESS AWAY! I love the smell and how it works! It’s like heaven in a bottle! I apply this oil to my wrist, as that is my go to spot to apply my oils. This oil I will NEVER go without! In fact I think I have a hoarding problem! I have a million bottles all over LOL!

First Oil Success

My first oil success would be Thieves. We use Thieves to support our immune system year round which is especially important when the kids are in school! I use it to clean my house, to brush my teeth, as our hand soap, hand sanitizer, everything! Our team motto is #thievesandjesus
