About Me

I was introduced to Young Living Oils in January of 2014 by chance! I hadn’t even ever heard of an essential oil before, but low and behold that’s when my love affair started. And once I jumped in there was no going back! Me & my kids were using the Peppermint for headaches, Digize for tummies, and all the sleep oils for this insomniac right here. Before I knew it,we were reaching for our hippie oils before popping any thing over the counter. Heck we have even tried the oils on our cat and it worked on her too! A year later… you can still find us all using and loving our oils and I am still hollering from the rooftops that everyone needs these in their lives!!! When I am not teaching others about Young Living you can find Creating something fun with my hands in my sewing room. Creating and Oils will always be my lifelong passions.

My Favorite Oil

It’s sooo hard to choose what my favorite oil is… But if I had to pick it would definitely be Cedarwood. I am a horrible sleeper! This oil helps me get my beauty rest and be all rested up for the day ahead. I like to add Balsam Fir to my Cedarwood in the diffuser at night. Since Cedarwood oil already has a woodsy smell, adding Balsam Fir to it gives it the full effect of sleeping in an Elfin forest. YUM.

First Oil Success

It was love at first sight, smell, and touch of Young Living Oils. It was actually my daughter, Paisley, who came home and raved about how her dance teacher put this “oil” on her headache at dance, and within 10 minutes she said it was gone and back to dancing again. I ultimately found out that it was Young Living Peppermint oil that the teacher had used on her temples. Paisley also is VERY dairy intolerant. I figured if this “oil” had worked on her headache, maybe, just maybe, it would work on her tummy issues as well. In my mind it was worth a shot, since we had already been to the ER several times before and tried everything the Doctor had recommended over the counter to help with her dairy intolerance. In Enter DIGIZE oil in our lives. This is the oil I tried on her tummy,.. not once, but twice, and then over and over again. Every. single. time. it worked! I was amazed… and so was Paisley. Our search was over for the help with her digestive issues. We now carrier Digize with us everywhere we go, no need for the Over the Counter tummy meds and we haven’t visited to the ER since! This oil led us into our Young Living Oil journey. None of these oils have ceased to amaze me, no matter what we are trying to help. It makes me, as a mother, feel good that I am teaching my kids how to use natural products first to cope and feel better when this world seems to be pushing synthetic everything, into everything we put in our bodies. My kids are also my best sales people since they love the oils as much as I do and tell everyone they know about our oil regimes. Long live the Oil Hippie family!
