About Me

I grew up in sunny San Diego where I was a pretty healthy child, but remembered the horrible taste of cough syrup, and the stinging “cleaning” of a cut or scrape with some sort of medicine. When I had my son, I knew I wanted some healthier alternatives for his bumps, bruises and to keep his immune system healthy. I fell in love with the idea of using essential oils before I even got them. After I ordered them and started using them on a daily basis, there’s NO going back! I have completely transformed all of the products I use in my home and my son knows a lot of the oils by name. His favorite part is making his own roller bottles so that he can apply their oils by himself!

My Favorite Oil

One of my favorite oils (I have many) is Peppermint. It has helped me ward off headaches, helped settle my sensitive stomach, helps with sugar cravings, flavors my water (and my brownies) and last but not least a drop on my tongue is a great way to freshen my breath vs grabbing a stick of gum!

First Oil Success

My son was about 3 years old and was still waking up 2/3 times a night, I was exhausted! So when my friend Mandi told me about Young Living’s Lavender oil, I couldn’t wait to try it out. When I got my kit, it was one of those long days without a nap, I was struggling to calm him down for bedtime and I pulled out the lavender and peace and calming from my starter kit, threw some coconut oil in my hand and rubbed the oil concoction on his feet and hoped it would do more than smell nice! He went from kicking and screaming while I applied the oil, to looking up at me silent, crawled into his bed and I didn’t hear a peep that night…. Miracle I wondered??? Just my oils, been obsessed ever since!
