About Me

I am a California native that has always been on the more natural side of things. I cloth diapered my children and made all of their baby food in the home. When I heard about essential oils from a friend, I decided to get a starter kit. I figured the worst-case scenario was that my house would smell amazing from diffusing oils all day. Little did I know that Young Living Essential oils were going to completely change our lives! We are now healthier and happier than we have ever been.

We use Young Living products every single day now. A favorite among the kids and me is our daily dose of Ningxia Red and “sleepy time” oils for bed.

My Favorite Oil

It is actually very hard to choose a favorite oil. I will NEVER run out of a handful of them (I have a pretty impressive stockpile) but Frankincense and Valor are two of my absolute favorites. Frank is truly a healing oil and we use it daily. From skin care and concentration to immunity boosts, there is little Frank can’t do. Valor has another special place it my heart. It is one of Young Living’s exclusive oil blends that is designed to help energy alignment, as well as increase feelings of strength and courage.

First Oil Success

Our first oil success is like many others who use lavender oil. My little, who had just turned 3 at the time, had yet to sleep through the night. Coincidentally, she had formed blisters on her feet (from breaking in new shoes) and I slathered her feet in lavender oil that evening. No less than 10 minutes later she was asleep and slept for 12 hours straight! I didn’t make the connection until a few days later because, honestly, it seems too good to be true! This is the moment I knew that we would never be without Young Living oils again. This tired mama needed some rest! (PS the blisters also healed over night.)
